AHB Expansion

Abha International Airport (AHB) is being expanded to boost the passenger capacity in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Asir region’s development strategy, aimed at boosting aviation and tourism in the country.

The expanded airport will handle over 90,000 flights a year to 250 locations with an annual capacity of 330 million passengers.

IAH TB Redevelopment

Location: Houston, US

Project type: Terminal redevelopment

Expected Completion: 2026 

Investment: $1.9bn

The George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) Terminal B (TB) transformation programme will refurbish and extend the concourses of Terminal B North and South to improve passenger experience. The project will add 40 new gates for both domestic and international passengers to support United Airlines’ United Next programme.

YLW Terminal Expansion 

Location: Kelowna, Canada

Project type: Expansion and renovation

Expected Completion: 2026 (phase one)​​​​​​​Investment: C$90m ($66m)

Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is expanding its terminal building to increase capacity. The first phase of the project will extend the terminal by approximately 5,590m² (60,170ft²) and refurbish 1,200m² (12,917ft²) of the existing building. The existing roof of the terminal will be replaced as it has reached its end of life.
