A clear terminal layout with a swift check-in and short distances are crucial for a regional airport. A walking distance of 67 meters from check-in to the aircraft is the result of these efforts.

Our runway with a length of 3,000 m and a width of 60 m is on the highest technical standard, equipped with a landing system of Category IIIB.

Our apron has a size of 116,000 m². There are 13 parking positions for medium-range aircraft and five parking positions for wide body aircraft.

Blue danube airport linz is located within the European region Danube-Vltava catchment area that was founded as an area of co-operation between seven partner regions.

The objective of the programme is to intensify co-operation, increase quality of life and ensure economic solvency in these regions.

The area has six million inhabitants and accounts for 30 million overnight stays.
