AutoFlight has achieved the world’s longest eVTOL vehicle flight. The 250km route was flown by AutoFlight’s Generation 4 aircraft on a single charge of the aircraft’s lithium-ion batteries.

India has revealed huge investment plans for airports as air travel demand picks up pace. The government will spend about Rs. 980bn ($12bn) by 2025 to boost regional connectivity. India, which is one of the fastest-growing aviation markets across the globe, aims to increase the number of airports from the current 148 to 220 by 2025.

Finnish airport operator Finavia has registered a 105.3% surge in revenue in 2022. The operator generated revenues of €298.4m last year, versus €145.4m in 2021.
