The expansion of Frankfurt Airport (FRA) includes the construction of a fourth runway and a third passenger terminal (Terminal 3) to increase the airport’s capacity to handle up to 100 million passengers a year. The expansion also doubles the retail space at Terminals 1 and 2 to 20,000m² and connects high-speed rail services.

The terminal expansion project at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) will involve consolidating three existing TSA checkpoints into a centralised 16-lane configuration, remodelling a 164,000ft² area within the terminal, and adding 117,000ft² of new area comprising new walkways to connect the terminal’s three concourses, the concessions area and other facilities.

Investment: PHP735bn ($12.571bn)

The New Manila airport is being built in the Bulacan province, 35km north of Manila. The airport will include four parallel runways, a world-class terminal, and infrastructure such as expressways and railway connections. The main airport facilities will cover 1,700 hectares of the 2,565-hectare project site while the remaining area will be used for ancillary facilities and future developments.
