The EU has announced more than €7bn ($7.6bn) in grants supporting transport projects as part of its Connecting Europe Facility, with a primary focus on addressing climate change and sustainable travel.

LATAM Airlines has committed to investing $2bn in Brazil over the next two years, as it continues growing its presence in the region after a meeting with Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

US-based Collins Aerospace has announced plans to relocate to a new $250m manufacturing plant in Singapore. Collins will transfer its operations from the current Bedok site as part of the relocation plan.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has confirmed receipt of the $200m it ordered Boeing to pay in 2022 after the company was found to have misled investors in its response to the two fatal crashes involving 737 MAX aircraft in 2018 and 2019. 

The airports in Cairns and Mackay will see A$155m ($102.4m) of investment through funding granted by the national government’s Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility.
